Pretty goddam awesome it seems…
Pretty goddam awesome it seems…
In short, this is ace.
Simple concept, great wordplay and right on point for it’s target audience.
…well, it is again!
Have a Messy Christmas party one and all!
12:12:12 on 12/12/12 seems as good a time as any to share Google’s Zeitgeist of the year… what’s been the highlights and talking points for you?
What’s ours you ask? Well it’s pretty much undeniable that 2012 was a great year for sport, so it’s got to be either:
Big old Usain Bolt’s twitchy eyes looking out for Yohan Blake in his 19.32 second 200m at the amazing London 2012.
Bradley Wiggins, supported by his phenomenal team, especially Chris Froome, winning the TdF:
Andy Murray finally securing not just a major, but also an Olympic gold and silver:
And as patriotic souls, this list wouldn’t be complete without us mentioning Wales winning the Grand Slam for the 3rd time in 8 years. After the crest-fall of last year’s world cup, contentiously beating England enroute to another Grand Slam put the smiles back on our faces. Albeit temporarily.

Ah, the beauty of a simple idea well executed.
Kudos to Cheese and Biscuits for the concept and a HT to @chris_power for the find.
I could easily see about, ooh a billion spin offs…
Brightening up your Friday. We can’t help but think some of these are getting into this a bit *too* much.

This feels agricultural, but it’s a great combo of a fantastic track and a superstar horn player. Enjoy!

Last week I spotted this poster online.
It was on one of the social networks, today I saw it again and shared it via my personal twitter and facebook feeds. I then looked into it’s provenance a bit more after Huw David asked me where he could buy one.
So, after a few seconds of rooting around I found the GFDA site and this nice little video from the co-creators… lots of sage stuff in here.
I was originally going to post this blog later on this evening; but why? Don’t fucking procrastinate. ^SD
Wieden + Kennedy have struck gold again with this epic interactive vid, continuing their sterling relationship with Old Spice, that has transformed the brand from something that was the stuff of nostalgia gags (allied with Hai Karate and Kouros as something late 80′s wannabes wore to attract the laydees) to one of the best selling men’s cosmetics products in the world today.
Make sure you don’t just watch the ad through, but actually have a play with the protagonist and create some fine music yourself at the end.
